Theatre Network is committed to Edmonton’s 35//50 initiative as we strive for inclusion of IBPOC and women & gender-diverse collaborators on our stages.
This commitment involves striving for a minimum inclusion of 35% IBPOC- identifying collaborators and 50% women & gender-diverse in our live productions from season to season. Theatre Network will ask collaborators in paid positions to self-identify in an optional survey and present this data in an aggregate format that is publicly available.
Theatre Network is further committed to inclusive hiring practices in all positions, including inclusive casting. Theatre Network encourages applications for paid positions and for posted audition notices from those who identify as a member of an equity-seeking or underrepresented group.
