A young boy tells the story of his neighbor who brutally hacked up his father in the basement of his house; Al and Janine, quarrel, make-up, and decide to get married after seeing a horror movie about a young man who brutally hacked up his father; Joe dreamed up the movie, but got no credit because he was said to have stolen the idea from a famous unfinished film, a claim that angered him so much he started drinking again; and then there’s the movie maker who made that incomplete epic in the first place.

Created by one of Canada’s most prolific theatre artists, Daniel MacIvor, Monster is a humorous, and immensely clever, one-man, multi-character exploration about the dark side of human nature.

Presented by Kill Your Television Theatre. Multiple winner of the Outstanding Independent Production Sterling Award.
