What started out as a newspaper comic strip, the Bechdel test is a set of rules used to categorize media. It determines whether or not women are being equally represented. In a comedic twist, The Rule has a man attempt to pass the Bechdel test. With questionable men and strong women, the show has us thinking about how we represent people in theatre.
