Dollar Menu Memories by Ethan Palazzo
Presented by the Miller Art Gallery
Fast food is everywhere, mass-produced, cheap, and disposable. But beneath all the grease and ketchup packets are intimate memories for consumers. In his first solo exhibition, Palazzo explores our emotional connection to fast food and the core memories made by association. A Chick-fil-A sandwich shared on a first date, McDonaldâs fries eaten on a family road trip, or a Taco Bell Crunchwrap after a late night with friends. This collection of work aims to capture how something so commercial can evoke deeply personal memories that are unique to each viewer.
