Undiscovered Country

Written and Performed by Chris Bullough

Edmonton Fringe hit, and official Fringe Holdover selection UNDISCOVERED COUNTRY, is the story of the rise and fall of fictional country star Tyler Wainwright Jr., as told by Sterling Award-winner Chris Bullough. This mind-bending journey of one man’s quest to find a song that could save us all, features original music the Edmonton Journal called “poignant and hilarious” – a poetic and darkly humorous vision for the end of the world.

Theatre Network’s mainstage is our bread and butter, the core of what we do, representing the productions that we create and present ourselves from season to season. This series features the best of professional contemporary theatre with a focus on artists, playwrights and stories from western Canada. In this series you can count on work that is challenging, engaging, entertaining, and unafraid to question our conceptions of the world we live in. Our continuing commitment is towards risk. Not all of our work is controversial, but we have chosen to welcome controversy, rather than fear it.
