The Expanse Movement Arts Festival 2009

Four days of high velocity improvisation, Monstrous Mayhem, live rock and roll, and contemporary DANCE! Four days of the body in motion! Expanse 2009 will feature an international line up of explosive performances; including new work by Harriet Macauley of Pair Dance (London, England), Shadowplay by Deanna Peters (Vancouver), Marked by Trevor Schmidt (Edmonton), The Monster a dance theatre fusion directed by David van Belle and choreographed by Anita Miotti (Calgary), Collision by the KO Dance Project (Edmonton) and the world premiere of Linda Turnbull’s new interactive performance work My Song.  Whether you come for a performance, to dance the night away at our opening night party, or perfect your handstand at a conditioning workshop Expanse can promise you one thing: We are going to make your pulse race.
