Smut Nite: Underground ’99

The underground takes over the Roxy for an evening showcasing underground art, Edmonton hardcore’s finest, and the early aughts’ dirtiest collection from the archive of grunge. It’s frantic, it’s dirty, it’s chaotic, it’s sleazy, it’s clashing, it’s sweaty, it’s unsavoury.

Put on that ripped tank top you never thought you’d wear again, that studded bra that’s been hanging in your closet for far too long, those little shorts that are far too short, or those sky high boots that make your legs hurt like hell. Featuring rooftop bands, pop-up performances, a midnight cabaret of comedy and skeeze, and dancing.
