Paper Wheat

Paper Wheat, a collectively written play from Saskatoon’s 25th Street House Theatre, is the story of the people of the prairies, Saskatchewan in particular, from the homesteading days before the turn-of-the-century to the present. Predominating is music of many styles: folk, country-and-western, rock-and-roll. The production was made into a film by the National Film Board of Canada in 1979.
