Nextfest Presents: What Was Is All

What Was Is All (formerly titled ‘Host Town’) is a new musical by Walters and Watt, currently in development in preparation for it’s run at the 2023 Edmonton Fringe Festival. ‘What Was Is All’ is a story about community and the forces that can corrupt it. As the inhabitants of a rural commune prepare for the imminent end of the world, a supernatural presence in the town charms and challenges them. Some long for power, some for escape, and some for salvation, but none are aware of what lies ahead. This production in Another F******g Festival is a workshop performance which will showcase a collection of songs from the show as well as several scenes from the brand new script.
