Näcken

Written by Liz Jansen

In 18th-century Germany, Greta, a spoiled and vain aristocrat, moves through life with effortless entitlement—until the cracks in her world begin to show. Desperate to undo Greta’s psyche, her handmaiden schemes to send her deep into the woods to seek counsel from a reclusive witch. But magic is unpredictable, and as Greta’s fate is twisted by forces beyond her control, she must confront the consequences of her cruelty before the darkness consumes her entirely.
