Edmonton’s multidisciplinary arts festival dedicated to the cultivation and professional development of the emerging artist. Our annual June festival runs for ten days with over 300 emerging professional artists in multiple venues throughout the Edmonton downtown area, celebrating new theatre, dance, cyber-art, music, painting, photography, filmmaking, poetry. NeXtFest encourages emerging artists to explore inter-disciplinary work, multi-media, and new technologies.

Notice to Edmonton. You are being wooed to attend the inauguration of NeXtFest 2002 wherein we will gather to channel the spirit, generate the groove, and summon the creative will. We’ve been holding our breath and Thursday May30 at 7PM is the time to start screaming, kicking, and being bold. It’s going to be something wild, it’s going to be something beautiful, it’s going to be something sexy. Consider yourself served. See you there.
