Based on the true story of Minerva Vano, a female escape artist who was a contemporary and rival of Harry Houdini at the turn of the Twentieth Century, it chronicles the struggles and challenges she had trying to succeed as a woman in a male dominated world.

The play features Miranda Allen, Sterling Award nominated actress and real life escape artist and street performer from right here in Edmonton. Miranda will be performing actual period escapes involving members of the audience.
