Kristallnacht

by Richard Epp

November 19– December 7, 1986

The German prisoner of war is a most unique creature. Beneath his hardened exterior, embedded in alternating layers of hate and distrust, there lies a heart.
Kristallnacht

A young girl and a German prisoner of war find themselves caught up in a world of hatred and double standards when they fall in love under a prairie sky, far from the German front. Based on true little-known stories from Alberta’s WWII POW camps.
