About the Event

The evening starts downstairs in the Lorne Cardinal Theatre at 7:00pm with drinks and appetizers by Skinny Legs Roaming Chef Amy Kellock and an introduction to the play by Director, Marianne Copithorne. Following the performance Catrin Owen will lead a short discussion about the nuances around sexual misconduct brought forward in the play. Theatre Network is known for producing theatre that examines complex issues and evokes thought. This will be a stimulating evening best shared with mentees and the amazing women in your circle.

About the show

Theatre Network’s production of Sexual Misconduct of the Middle Classes by Hannah Moscovitch asks us to confront how structures of power distort our perceptions of love. Jon is a star professor and acclaimed author at the end of his third marriage. Annie is a university student with artistic promise and a hard-to-miss red coat. Their exchange of artistic admirations snowballs into a sexually tense relationship bringing up questions of power dynamics, women’s agency, and perspective.
