Hagen is an endearing, inventive performer, and when he gets down to creating a character, the results are riotous, affectionate and touching. - The Edmonton Journal
Buddy

“When we used to hang out at the gas station…the 24 hour café…we’d drink coffee until our guts churned, just waiting for something to happen.”

A beautifully written and visually stunning new work about friendship and loyalty – all set against the backdrop of Alberta’s Rocky Mountains. Desperate times and situations call for desperate measures as two best friends wrestle with their perceptions of the world – as they see it from the centre of their small Alberta town. Heartbreak, bar fights and boredom are all unmistakably real in this unique production that brings vast rural landscapes up-close through Ian Jackson’s multi-media experience.
