A Fate Worse Than Death

In her first-ever solo mainstage performance, Nisha will debut a series of spoken word poems and music that weaves her experiences as a disabled artist together to answer the question of whether disabled life is worth living. The audience will be asked to witness disability as the artist does: through pain, in the body and mind, and then outside of it in a society that seeks its eradication. The show will also profess to the love and joy of disability, the need for disability justice, and the beauty of desiring a disabled life.
