Since suffering a tragic fire at the Roxy Theatre on January 13th many community members, individual donors, artists and businesses have stepped up to help the Roxy Theatre and Theatre Network rise from the ashes.
The Theatre Network staff and board give a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has leant support and reached out to us. A tragedy can have the ability to rally people together. Our supporters have let us know that what Theatre Network does is important to Edmontonians and Canadians alike.

All of the individual donors on our canadahelps.org page. We have had donations from artists, subscribers and friends from all across Canada. On Canada Helps alone these supporters have helped to raise over $17,000 in support of Theatre Network. Bravo!

Rapid Fire Theatre who raised $3,200 in support of TN at their Friday January 16th performance.
Freewill Shakespeare, who raised $1800 for Theatre Network at their recent Blow the Roof Off Fundraiser.
The Artery who raised $900 at a concert in support of the Roxy Theatre on Wednesday January 21.
Sine Chadi and Imperial Equities supported Theatre Network with a large donation citing that “If people knew what you guys have done for Canadian Theatre everyone would be behind you.”
The Northern Alberta Jubilee, whose bar staff is generously donating all tips collected until April 30th in support of Theatre Network.
Dararvara who hosted an impromptu party for the #yegtheatre community mourning the loss of the Roxy.
Grindstone Theatre who donated proceeds from their January 23rd performance of the 11 O’Clock Number to Theatre Network.
The Next Act has dedicated their weekly cameo burger to the Roxy team and will be donating proceeds from the burger’s sales until Friday January 30th.
Remedy Café is taking donations in person at their locations on 124 Street and 109 Street.
124 Street Business Association has been graciously allowing Network staff to use their offices as a home base while we finalize our new home.
The Global Visions Film Festival will be dedicating a screening on February 28th at the Garneau Theatre to the Roxy.
Fool Spectrum Theatre has dedicated their monthly clown cabaret for January to Theatre Network. Proceeds from ticket sales will go to support the future efforts of TN.
Horizon Stage has placed donation bins in their venue to support Theatre Network’s future.
The Edmonton Community Foundation has pledged emergency relief funding to help TN recover from the tragic fire.
More supporters keep coming and some of these supporters will be announced as we get set to drop some big news on the city of Edmonton and the #yegtheatre scene. Look forward to more in the upcoming days!
