Auditions: Nextfest Anniversary Project

The Nextfest Arts Company is holding auditions by appointment for the upcoming 20th Anniversary Nextfest Showcase as part of Theatre Network’s Roxy Performance Series.
Auditions: November 24 12:00 – 6:00pm
Audition Location: Workshop West Playwright’s Theatre 11516 103 St NW
The Nextfest Arts Co. presents two plays in repertory from its esteemed past. Directors Beth Dart and Andrew Ritchie will re-imagine two plays from the festival archives to help kick-off the 20th Anniversary of Nextfest. This event will not only showcase Edmonton’s emerging talent but will celebrate 20 years of Nextfest creations.

Rehearsals: April 14 – May 5, 2015
Production: May 7 – 17, 2015
Auditions will be held in the basement of Workshop West Playwright’s Theatre. Please prepare two contrasting monologues or a monologue and a song. A CD player and plug in speakers will be provided for accompaniment. You may be asked to read a side from the plays as well.
Emerging artists of all backgrounds and experience are encouraged to apply.
