Following Prime Minister Trudeau’s announcement this morning we will be canceling the remaining performances of Wild Side Production’s The Children by Lucy Kirkwood which was scheduled to run until March 21.
Anyone with a ticket for the rest of the show is welcome to donate the ticket cost to the artists of Wild Side Productions, or be provided with a refund. Refunds for The Children will be processed automatically on Monday March 23.
We are speaking with artists about future events at The Roxy on Gateway and will address these events on a case by case basis. Please stay tuned to our social media, website, and e-newsletter for updates.
We are disappointed to take away these opportunities for artists and audiences to celebrate creativity together but this is a necessary step to protect all people in our community.
We are taking our cues from The City of Edmonton, Alberta Health Services, and Federal Government.
