Nextfest Anthology I
In the autumn of 2000 NeWest Press published The Nextfest Anthology and in the spring of 2006 they published the Nextfest Anthology II – plays from the Syncrude next generation arts festival. Nextfest Festival Director Glenda Stirling (1999 -2000) is the Editor of the first anthology and Nextfest Festival Director Steve Pirot (2001 -) is the Editor of the second. Both Anthologies highlight five plays from five years (1996 – 2000 & 2001 – 2005) of developing new work by new voices. The selection is wacky, humorous, dark, quirky, uplifting, and highly entertaining collection from fresh young talents.
